l am a single lady in my 30's. Today makes it a month that l was persecuted for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, in fact l was made to stand with one leg for some minutes as way to punish me! And later my hands were tied behind my back!
That day was a bitter experience for me.. l cried many tears and my heart was heavy!
God is faithful, and l still believe HIM!
What experiences of persecution have you heard of ???

The bible said "if we suffer with him, we shall also reign with Him". (Romans 8:17-18; Philippians 1:29; 2Timothy 2:12, 3:12; 1Peter 3:14-18)
We have heard of several persecutions in Nigeria, and other countries, escalated in recent years.
It is part of the signs of the end: The Lord Jesus is coming soon. We are to stand firm and not deny Christ.
"He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved". (Mat.24:13)

Subject: have you seen christian literatures displayed where you live ?
On the Entrance Door of a church lvisited sometime back, were some christian literatures displayed on a Tray Table, l find these christian literatures very useful.
l cannot imagine the happiness in my heart knowing God has carried my path to this church to come across these USEFUL christian literatures, as people literally swamped around the church's table to look at them and flip through the pages of these literatrues to read the messages on them.
These Literatures help a lot of people that the writers of these literatures may never know.

Some colleges also allow Christian literature to be on free literature stands, next to magazines or newspapers, in their student center halls.
Wherever there is opportunity, the literature can be freely given out or displayed.
Only the Lord reaches the hearts of people, and He only calls his own. We just present him to the public.

Hello Beloved in the Lord!
I would like to take a moment and speakto you about what kind of an impact youcan have by simply passing out a gospel tract.
If you are not familiar with who we are , we are Missionaries in GHANA distributing Gospel Tracts to bring people to Jesus.
On a particular day l was visiting with a friend, as we walked we passed a man sitting on a bench. l reached out and handed this man a gospel tract. As we continued our walk were were still handing out gosple tracts and talking to people we meet on our way. When we were heading back home wesaw this man still sitting on the bench. l asked the man if he read the gospel tract and understood what it said. The man replied Yes l just read it and the gospel tracts actually ministered to me, so l bowed my head and asked Christ into my heart to be my Savior.
See friends you never know the power and impact you can have by just handing tracts to someone.
l was so excited to see this man accept Christ as his Savior. That is fruit to an account of an effect of a gospel tracts and another soul that will now spend eternity in Heaven with Christ.
Have you at anytime distribute gospel tracts to anyone there ??? What was your experiences, interraction or story like with someone? did they took gospel tracts or refuse them when given ?

Thank you brother Jerry for your email and your question about guidelines for choosing wisely.
Number 1, it is important that your son and/or daughter is a believer, born again and committed to obey Christ and the word of God.
Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it". Therefore yours must be in the Lord before you can demand that they choose only a mate that is also in the Lord as number 2 points out.
Number 2, A believer should only marry "in the Lord". That means, the choice must be someone who is also a believer, committed to Christ and the word of God. (1 Cor.7:39). You may ask the question "how are we to know a committed believer?" a) By their fruit you shall know them 2) From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
So, I admonish my children to watch what the prospective mate says when they chat, and watch the lifestyle before getting oneself committed (before what they call falling in love). For example, all my married children brought their partners to visit "we the parents", and I interrogate them also, to make sure they are committed to Christ and the word of God. I follow-up after marriage with exhortation to remind them of their commitment to Christ as often as I have a topic to exhort on. (Four are already married with children).
Those 2 points are the most essential, for a marriage to be blessed by God.
I also exhort the children to get their prospective mate into bible studies before marriage, and daily after marriage, which lifestyle my children inherit from us. They were raised with daily bible study before bed each night till they left home for college and when they met the mates, they told the mates of the lifestyle which the mates adopted and it became how they also are raising their children.
Other things can be said, that involves compatibility, but with God in their camp, every differences can be worked out with the scriptures and counselling. I will direct you to listen to our Marriage series which was taught to married couples several years ago. The teachings cover all the other points, and are pertinent to those proposing to marry. Read the rest of chapter 12, and you see verse 15 --- And the
Lord struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David and it was very
sick.... The child died in verse 18.

Choice of who leads a nation are made in several countries, in some it is subverted, some honoured, in some opposition attracts severe punishment for those who are disloyal.
Former America president Trump has been on the news as he has shown his interest to lead America again!
l will likened Trump to King Jeroboam in 2 kings 14:26-28.
Trump will have to work so very hard to recover the office that most America think was stolen from him in 2020
The only way many think for America people to make such success for him is to come closer to God and repent of any sins!
Many feel and think AMERICA's PROBLEMS ARE DIRECT RESULT OF some SINS AND ARE PLAIN TO SEE - it has come closer to the nostrils, BUT the Lord isn't too weak to save America but these sins seems to be cutting her from God YET God can hear America who sees her plight and does n't lack the power or the desire to help.
One Big question for you
"Is America suppose to again make a choice for Trump to take back what most America think had been stolen from him ???
What are the good reasons why the America people need to stand and rally behind him ??
For example if the choice is turned down what do you think for America ?? Remember Psalm 25:14 ► The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
DON'T YOU think America will need to ask for access so it can see the mystery of God!

As Christians awaiting our own Kingdom of God when the Lord Jesus shall come soon, we personally don't involve ourself in the politics of the world. We only pray for them.
As to stolen election, it is a sign of the times! Every country following the champion-of-democracy country are all claiming the election is stolen from them. When the 5th vial of the wrath of God is poured out in Revelations 16:10 upon the seat of the beast, the beast kingdom is full of darkness; It means they would not trust one another anymore and violence will cover their governments, etc. We saw it in "democracy being challenged" in America, in Colombia, in Nigeria, in Kenya, etc. It will get worse. Believers should look up, "for our redemption draweth nigh".

As the Psalmist said, Children are an heritage of the Lord (Psalm 127:3). When earthly parents welcome Heavenly Father's children into their homes, they assume responsibility to love them, cherish them, teach them, and lead them to eternal life.
Some family have male and female child/children Some family have only male child/children Some family have only female child/children Some family have both male child/children Some family have none- no child/children
My question right now is"-
Have you come across any mother who is not so happy because she does have a female child/children ? or who yearn for them or who is satisfaction with the ONLY male children he'she has ??
What can you be able to discusses how a mother might feel not having a female children ?
l guess a female child ought to have KEY role/duty to play along with her mother ? What could some of these key roles be ? Does the Bible have any thing to say on this,

We are admonished to count our blessings and be grateful for what we have. As you have written, there are some people who couldn't get a husband; others married couldn't get children; others married only get boys, while others married and only get girls, and some have both.
Philippians 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God".

There are cases in the bible also of great kings that were reported that they loved God and brought revival but had children that were terrible after the father was gone.
1) King David was a man after God's heart. But his first born Amnon was reported to be promiscuous who raped his half sister (Absalom's sister) and got killed by Absalom for it. (2Sam.13) 2)Hezekiah was a great king after God's heart, and king Manasseh his son after him turned back to idolatry. (2Kings 21)
Researching the scriptures shows that there is often a cause of those problems: a) Parental attention often missing. (Prov.27:23) ... b) evil influence from some close uncles or friends that twisted the children (Prov.12:11, 28:19).

Knowing that being alone is scary and unsettling for single parents. What special promise does God have for them?

Whether single parent or both parents are available, the responsibility is still there, now solely on one person.
It takes a "village" to raise kids is the common speech in the world. The single parent therefore need support from the "village".
Prov. 11:14 - Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
